WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. — Five high school students were taken by ambulance to a local hospital when a car rear-ended a school bus near a railroad crossing Friday morning, an emergency dispatcher told TribLive.

The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m., and the injuries were not considered life-threatening, the dispatcher said. He added that the person in the vehicle was not hurt.

It was also the second accident that morning involving a Canon-McMillan School District bus, according to the Washington Observer Reporter. At 7:20 a.m. the bus driver lost control and crashed into two street signs and a parked car. None of the 27 students on board were hurt.
