2 EMTs hurt in Ky. ambulance, school bus crash

With lights and siren on, the ambulance collided with the bus and flipped

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Members of an EMS crew were injured when their ambulance flipped after clipping a school bus passing through an intersection.

The ambulance was en route to another vehicle accident and did not have a patient on board. The school bus was also not transporting students, WAVE3 reports.

“The ambulance slides over and drags off hits that power pole and then it starts smoking up,” said witness Jalen Posey.

The minor collision caused the ambulance to swerve and flip onto its side. Two EMTs were taken to the hospital.

The bus driver was not hurt during the accident.
