SAN DIEGO — An EMT was injured after an ambulance rolled over and crashed Wednesday morning.
10News.com reported that a United Ambulance Company EMT was driving to a nearby hospital when he fell asleep at the wheel, causing the ambulance to hit a curb and flip onto its side.
An EMT with a patient in the back of the rig suffered minor injuries; the patient avoided serious injury.
The ambulance was en route to the hospital for the patient’s dialysis treatment when the crash occurred.
