LEMONT, Ill. — Firefighter-Paramedic Scott Williams, 46, died Sunday after a smoke investigation Saturday at Argonne National Laboratory, the U.S. Firefighters Association announced Tuesday.
Williams returned to the station after the response at one of the labs at the science and engineering facility and was later found unresponsive in his bunk during a shift change Sunday. He was pronounced deceased.
An investigation into his death is ongoing.
