PAWTUCKET, R.I. — Charles Robichaud, a paramedic since 1993, announced his write-in candidacy for president in a video press release.

Robichaud calls on 2016 presidential election voters to consider him as a serious write-in candidate instead of wasting their vote on fictional characters like Mickey Mouse or Uncle Sam.

“I am seeking all voters from all parties to unite based on common sense ideas,” Robichaud said in his YouTube video press release. “I don’t see the current candidates as being leaders and they do not look after the average person.”

Robichaud is a Massachusetts paramedic and has worked in Boston and New York City.
