Stranger leaves money for paramedics, thanks them for blocking drive

FLINTSHIRE, Wales — A stranger left money and a kind note on an ambulance while a paramedic crew treated a patient.

Metro reported that the note thanked paramedics for blocking a driveway, and a photo of the kind gesture has been shared more than 300 times.

“Thank you for blocking my driveway to save a life. Refreshments on me,” the note read.

A Welsh Ambulance Service commented on the tweet of the photo, saying the incident was “such a boost.”

“Such a boost for our hardworking crews when they get a heartfelt thankyou note for doing a tough job,” the spokesperson said. “No financial incentive required! They are just dedicated. Thank you, anonymous author.”
