SMITH COUNTY, Miss. — A Mississippi paramedic with the Mississippi Weather Network was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Smith County.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, AmeriPro Health EMS Paramedic Adam Gambrell was killed when his vehicle was struck by another vehicle on April 4, WLBT reported.
In addition to being a paramedic, Gambrell was the Chief Operations Officer for the Mississippi Weather Network.
“He loved serving Mississippians as he was a dedicated paramedic in Jasper County and by relaying life-saving weather information here on MWN.” CEO Hunter Dickerson said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
A GoFundMe account has been created to help Gambrell’s wife and child.
