Ohio paramedics first to get H1N1 vaccine mist

CINCINATTI — Kevin Murhy might have been exposed to H1N1 already. But he’s not taking any chances.

Murphy, a firefighter-paramedic with the Blue Ash Fire Department, got vaccinated against the new flu strain this morning at the firehouse.

“We’ve already been in contact with it, we think, when we’ve gone out on calls,” he said. “Whether it’s H1N1 or not, we don’t know.”
