Michael Gerber Joins RedFlash Group as Associate Consultant

Encinitas, Calif. – The RedFlash Group, a national consulting firm bringing innovative business development, communications, research and marketing services to the healthcare and public safety fields, announced today that Michael Gerber has joined the company as an Associate Consultant.

Currently based in Washington, D.C., Gerber has spent the past 13 years as a paramedic and the past eight years in the fire service. He earned a B.A. in the History of Science and Medicine from Yale University and master’s degree in public health from George Washington University. Gerber started his EMS career as a paramedic volunteer at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad in 2001 then later joined the fire service as an EMS supervisor in 2006.

In addition, Gerber was a staff writer for The Hill newspaper in Washington, D.C. from 2001 to 2004 where he covered Congress and politics with a focus on the lobbying industry. He also contributed articles to The Washington Post, The American Prospect Online, The Washington Examiner, and has developed content for multiple professional publications serving public safety and government.
