Rural Emergency Healthcare is Topic of August Meeting in Vail

VAIL, COLO--A healthcare summit in Vail, Colo. will address emergency healthcare issues that are unique to rural and frontier areas. Held Aug. 11-13 at the Manor Vail Lodge, the conference features speakers from across the country addressing topics like pediatric trauma, distance learning for paramedics, using ultrasound in the field, and communications challenges in rural areas. Sessions are appropriate for everyone from state and federal policymakers to Emergency Medical Technicians.

Participants may also attend the Aug. 11 morning meeting of the International Roundtable on Community Paramedicine, which is held at the same location, for no charge.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for participants. Sponsors, exhibitors and poster presentation opportunities are available for non-profit and for-profit organizations.
