Two McFee Ambulance employees were injured Friday while returning from a call.

James E. Cronk, 38, of 16 Darrow Road, Mexico, was driving the rig northbound on state Route 11 in Hastings when he lost control, Oswego County sheriff’s deputies said. The ambulance went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Cronk and his passenger, Garret R. Snyder, 36, no address available, were taken by SOVAC ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse.

The injuries were not life-threatening, according to the sheriff’s office.
