Video: Police officer resuscitates infant with CPR
Footage shows him rubbing the 7-month-old's chest and blowing in her face to revive her; the infant was diagnosed with a seizure disorder
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lapel video released by the Albuquerque Police Department shows an officer resuscitating an unconscious baby.
Police said Officer Martin Smith was called to home in the Northeast Heights around 1 p.m. on May 14. When Smith arrived, a 7-month-old baby was unresponsive and the family was distraught.
Smith gave the child a few light breaths and rubbed her chest in order to revive the child.
