Electronic patient care reports (ePCRs) should paint a vivid picture; if it is not documented, it didn’t happen! Documentation is the key to billing the correct levels of service (BLS or ALS) and supporting medical necessity, which, in turn, creates more revenue for EMS agencies.

Aligning charting with billing is essential for compliance, preventing claim rejections and denials, and for receiving timely, maximum allowable reimbursement.

In an upcoming Pinnacle Webinar Series event, ZOLL ePCR and billing experts discuss establishing expectations for charting, getting clinician buy-in, and identifying the data points that are essential for billing success.

Register now for free for this event on Tuesday, December 16, at 1 p.m. CT.

Attendees will learn how to:

  1. Identify essential data points necessary for compliance and revenue integrity
  2. Apply data validation techniques in ePCR software to ensure accurate and complete documentation
  3. Recognize the importance of pre-billing quality assurance in achieving first-pass billing success
  4. Explain the role of pre-billing quality assurance in optimizing revenue cycle management processes
