MURRAY, Utah — A car driver playing loud music failed to hear the sirens of an approaching ambulance and crashed into it Thursday, KSL.com reported.
The ambulance was responding code-3 in Murray, Utah, and attempting to cross an intersection on a red light when it was stuck by the vehicle.
Police told KSL.com the Suzuki sedan entered the intersection on a green light and struck the ambulance.
The driver failed to hear the sirens because his music was so loud, according to the report.
An EMT suffered minor injuries in the crash.
