EMT dies in crash on central Pa. road

Lost control, hit an embankment and flipped

ALLENSVILLE, Pa. — An emergency medical technician in central Pennsylvania was killed when his ambulance overturned.

The Mount Union Fire Company ambulance lost control Saturday morning on Route 22 eastbound in Brady Township, Huntingdon County, hit an embankment and flipped.

State police said 22-year-old Ethan Amsbaugh was pronounced dead at a hospital. He’d been working with the fire company as an ambulance volunteer for less than a month.
