WEST SUSSEX, England — A schoolboy was killed when he was run over on a motorway in the dark by several vehicles, including an ambulance and an unmarked police car.

The boy, named as Scott Turner, 15, of Burgess Hill, west Sussex, was believed to be returning home from a wedding as he walked along the M23 near Crawley at 1.50am yesterday.

He was struck first by a black Nissan before several other vehicles ran over him, including the two emergency vehicles.

Around 500 people have joined a Facebook tribute for the teenager, including his cousin, Lauren Carden, who said: “My family have just lost a beautiful young boy.”
