LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Emergency crews are at the scene of an accident involving an ambulance.
The accident happened about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Jackson Street in downtown Louisville.
Officials said the accident involved a Rural/Metro ambulance and another vehicle.
Rural Metro Ambulance’s T.J. Blakley said two crew members from the ambulance were taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Blakley said he did not know if there was a patient in the ambulance.
Louisville Metro Police have blocked Broadway in both directions as cleanup continues.
