WEST WINDSOR, N.J. — A woman being transferred by ambulance to a psychiatric facility kicked an EMS provider in the groin and escaped from the emergency vehicle.
The 32-year-old had unbuckled herself from the stretcher. When the EMT driving the ambulance stopped to help his partner contain her, she assaulted him and ran into a wooded area, nj.com reports. Police searched the area and located her at a nearby Wawa store.
She was charged with aggravated assault and turned over to the University Medical Center of Princeton.
