HASTINGS, Mich. — A woman was arrested Wednesday after she was intercepted behind the wheel of a stolen ambulance.
The woman was the sole occupant of the ambulance and she did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of her arrest, MLive.com reports.
The 53-year-old woman told officers she took the ambulance because she wanted to “get home to Southfield,” according to the report.
The ambulance was taken from a local hospital while the ambulance crew was there picking up a patient.
