SC ambulance hit by gunfire

Officials said the bullets narrowly missed EMS providers

ANDERSON, S.C. — A South Carolina ambulance was struck by gunfire early Monday morning. 

Police say someone shooting from a vehicle hit the Medshore rig with two bullets, narrowly missing crewmembers inside, according to WYFF News 4

Authorities said the shooting occurred at about 1 a.m. in Anderson and police are searching for the individuals and vehicles involved. 

The bullets missed the crewmembers by just a few inches, according to police. 

Descriptions of the vehicles or possible suspects involved were not reported.
