FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A 24-year-old man was accused of firing several shots at a Fort Wayne ambulance last weekend.
The Journal Gazette reported the shooting followed a fight inside a nightclub about 3 a.m. Sunday that resulted in a stabbing. Police said the ambulance was taking the victim to a hospital with family members following in their car when a white car opened fire on the family car and the ambulance.
Traneilous Jackson was charged in the shootings.
A witness told police that the gunman was seeking revenge against a stabbing victim the ambulance was carrying.
