MINERAL WELLS, Texas — EMS1 reader Cayden Gossen submitted this photo for the Photo of the Week.

Gossen wrote that a group of instructors recently traveled to Mineral Wells, Texas, to help train new hires at AMR’s NextFleet operation, where new ambulances are built for AMR agencies around the world.

During the visit, a Med-Trans Medal of Honor helicopter also landed at the facility as executives toured the operation, adding to the day’s events.

The helicopter design, unveiled in 2022 by Global Medical Response, was done in partnership with the Dallas Cowboys and the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation was created to honor the service and sacrifice of the nation’s military members and veterans. The special design ties into a broader tribute to heroism, recognizing both Medal of Honor recipients and first responders.
