Man attempts suicide twice, fails, walks to work

The man jumped out of a moving car then got hit by a truck, but survived and made his way to his workplace

PITTSBURGH — A Pa. man made his way to work after failing at committing suicide twice.

The 22-year-old Washington County man was on his way to work Tuesday morning and jumped out of the car he was riding in onto a highway and survived, according to police.

About a half an hour later, the man climbed over a guide rail onto a bridge and stepped in front of a tractor-trailer. He was hit by the truck and knocked out of his shoes. The man then grabbed his shoes, jumped back over the guide rail and walked to work.

After arriving at his workplace, he was taken to the hospital then air lifted to another Pittsburgh hospital for further treatment.
