ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — In preparation for the week’s winter weather, the St. Charles County Ambulance District showcased two of their new plows the organization took delivery of in 2020.
“We’ve had a couple of minor weather events where we’ve used them to plow the lots at our own stations, but I believe this is the first one significant enough that we anticipate using them in a response capacity,” Kyle Gaines, director of community relations at SCCAD.
When a call comes in for an area that has not been plowed, one of the new plow trucks can be deployed with the ambulance, Gaines said in an email.
