KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Aaron Carter is pursuing his dream to become a country music singer-songwriter, all while dedicating his daytime hours to saving lives as an emergency medical technician with AMR.
Carter was nominated as Vocalist of the Year and recognized on country music’s biggest stage: the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, WVLT reported.
Carter said his desire to serve, and the work ethic his father displayed as an EMT to provide for their family, is what drives him to pursue his dreams while simultaneously serving the community.
Carter is leveraging his influence to make a positive impact in his hometown, collaborating with various organizations located in Roane County. Many of these organizations had previously assisted his family in making ends meet. He aims to inspire the youth of Rockwood to maintain a strong work ethic and persistently strive to reach their aspirations.
“It does not matter where you come from. If you put in enough work, enough heart, and you have the desire to reach a goal, you are going to make it happen,” Carter said.
