KELSO, Ore. — Emergency crews used a rescue basket and low-angle rope techniques to rescue a woman who took a wrong turn in her car and drove off a 100-foot embankment Tuesday night.
The woman reportedly was leaving an apartment complex and accidentally turned the wrong way and slid down a steep hill, according to the Oregonian.
It took crews more than 90 minutes to extricate the woman from her car.
She was transported to the hospital to be treated for back and neck pain.
