GRANBY, Mass. — Disagreement between Granby Fire Department and South Hadley Fire District 2 related to competing claims involving emergency ambulance service responses to about 150 Granby homes that have also been served by the fire district have not gone away despite state intervention and mediation efforts.
Although the parties agree that when there is a fire both units respond, ambulance service protocols have become a sticky wicket.
At Monday’s Select Board meeting, Granby officials said the ongoing dual responses for ambulance service continue.
