BOISE, Idaho — Emergency medics and crews hope to have faster response times now that they’ve signed an EMS joint agreement today.
Ada County officials will now work closely with city first responders from the Boise, Meridian, Eagle and Kuna districts, to give quality emergency care as quickly as possible.
“One of the things we found...is that a Boise City fire-truck may be the closest fire-truck to a Meridian call, because of where they just happened to be right now,” said Darby Weston, Director of Ada County EMS.
