NEW YORK — There are more problems for New York City’s 911 system.
Eyewitness News has obtained emails showing some EMS officials had complained about problems with the city’s new emergency system after the death of 4-year-old Ariel Russo. The city admits there was a four minute delay in dispatching help when the little girl was hit by an SUV last month.
She died and now her family is demanding answers. Standing with their two-year-old son Jacob, now their only child, Alan and Sophia Russo have found themselves on a crusade in the name of their 4-year-old daughter Ariel.
