2 SF paramedics investigated for incident in ambulance

A formal complaint was filed against the department regarding an incident that took place eight months ago

SAN FRANCISCO — Two San Francisco Fire Department paramedics are being investigated for their alleged involvement in an incident where one of them had sexual intercourse in an ambulance.

CBS San Francisco reported the incident occurred eight months ago, when one paramedic was reported to have had sex in the back of the ambulance with a civilian. The other paramedic, NBC Bay Area reported, is accused of covering for him.

An investigation was launched after a formal complaint was filed against the department.

As of Friday, the department did not confirm or deny any specific details of the incident. An internal investigation is underway.
