Missing Mich. EMT identified as pedestrian struck by train

Timothy Graves went missing on June 28, and was struck and killed by a train in Ohio; his car was found parked nearby

BELLEVILLE, Mich. — Missing firefighter and EMT Timothy Graves was identified as the man who was struck and killed by a train last week in Portage, Ohio.

Graves, 22, was an EMT for HealthLink Medical Transport and a Belleville fighters. He was last seen leaving HealthLink EMS headquarters June 28 at 10 p.m. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a train on around 4:45 a.m. on June 30, WXYZ.com reports.

The Wood County Sheriff’s office confirmed the pedestrian as Graves.

Graves’ car was found at a rest area near the train tracks. His death is under investigation pending results of a coroner’s report.
