Quantum EMS recently launched a new stair chair that weighs 16 pounds and can support up to 440 pounds.
Costing $599, the Quantum Swiftlite Q-100 stair chair is the lightest and least expensive option Quantum makes, the company said. It comes with chest and ankle restraints a wall mounting bracket, lifting handles, and large wheels for stability over rough terrain.
The chair also unfolds in one movement for immediate use, and the seat and backrest are detachable.
