ORANGEBURG, S.C. — Two EMS providers were extricated from an ambulance after a collision with a Dodge truck Monday morning.
The driver and passenger from Vital Care EMS were transported to the Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Orangeburg Department of Public Safety Lt. John Caddell told The Times and Democrat.
“The truck ran a red light and struck the ambulance in the driver’s side door,” Caddell said.
The driver of the truck was not injured, and was charged with disregarding a traffic control device.
