BLUFFTON, S.C. — A pedestrian died after being struck by an ambulance while trying to cross a six-lane highway Friday.
Officials said the ambulance was not transporting a patient at the time of the incident. Two EMS providers, who were inside the ambulance, did not suffer any injuries, reported the Associated Press.
The man was not wearing any reflective clothing while crossing the highway; the incident remains under investigation.
