DALY CITY, Calif. — An ambulance was stolen after it was used to respond to an emergency overnight in Daly City.
Paramedics were inside a home around 12:20 a.m. tending to a patient at a home on the 500 block of Schwerin Street when someone jumped into the ambulance and took off. The vehicle was recovered within five minutes a couple blocks away with small items missing. Police will not say what was taken.
Whoever stole the ambulance is still at large.
