BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — An ambulance was hit during a car accident Tuesday that sent four people to the hospital in Baldwin County.
According to Fox10 News , the wreck occurred on Highway 59 near I-10 in Loxley as the ambulance was conducting an emergency run.
A witness, Marshal Thomas, told the news station that he saw a Dodge dually pickup strike the Medstar ambulance at an intersection.
Police said that the two ambulance crew members, the Dodge driver and a patient inside the ambulance were all taken to the hospital, according to Fox10.
Thomas said the two ambulance crew members were airlifted due to their injuries.
According to Fox10, the Loxley Police Department is leading the investigation into the incident.
