BUFFALO, Minn. — Brian Nagel, 30, still needs a walker, physical therapy and speech therapy, but he is on the way to recovery after he and EMT Tim Daly, 43, were seriously injured in an ambulance collision. ABC News 5 reports.
Daly has been released from the hospital with both legs in casts.
Nagel’s family wrote on his CaringBridge site “Brian was all over the place today and we wouldn’t be surprised if we found maps of the hospital and plans of escape under Brian’s bed.”
He and Daly were transporting a patient during a snowstorm when a SUV collided head-on with the ambulance. The driver of the SUV was badly injured, and the patient was not hurt.
