BATON ROUGE, La. — First responders in Baton Rouge say they’re now better equipped to handle large scale emergencies.

East Baton Rouge EMS purchased a new special operations truck for use at big events, like football games and parades.

The truck is designed to be able to handle several victims at any scene. EMS leaders said the new truck is going to be a big help when it comes to emergencies.
