ORLANDO, Fla. — No one was injured in a crash between a Winter Park police car and an ambulance on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Orlando Fire Department.

It happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of East Winter Park Road and Corrine Drive.

Both vehicles are believed to have had their emergency lights activated.

The overturned ambulance, operated by American Ambulance Services, was not carrying a patient, the fire department said. It’s not clear if the police cruiser had any prisoners inside.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
