SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — Chris Parry, 35, was a field training officer for AMR who was killed in a motor vehicle crash Aug. 24. His friends and co-workers are sharing a GoFundMe page to raise money for his family.

The fundraising page was created Aug. 25, and has raised nearly $14,000 of its $20,000 goal.

He leaves behind a wife and two children.

According to The Santa Clarita Valley Signal, Parry was riding his scooter on the highway to work when he was rear-ended by a woman traveling directly behind him.

Despite CPR efforts, the injuries he suffered during the crash were too severe for him to be revived.

Megan Hayes, a friend of Parry’s, created the the GoFundMe Page to aid his family.

“Chris was just one of the good guys,” AMR supervisor Dave Ellis said to KHTS News. “We just want to help support his young family as much as we can while they are trying to manage losing their dad and husband.”
