DC EMS, firefighters save man from heart attack in front of fire station

The man drove up to the station and honked his horn before going into cardiac arrest

WASHINGTON — D.C. firefighters and EMS saved a man’s life after he showed up at their fire station.

The man drove up to the station and frantically honked his horn to notify first responders he needed help, reported WUSA9.

The crew quickly performed CPR when they realized the man was having a heart attack, and were able to revive him.

The man was responsive en route to the hospital, responders said.
