Paramedic receives touching note on ambulance windshield

“Please DO block our street and parking spaces if needed!” the note said, which added that first responders are “unsung heroes”

MORECAMBE BAY, England — Paramedics received a heartfelt note on their ambulance windshield that praised them and encouraged them to park wherever they’d like.

Daily Mail reported that paramedic Vinny Romano found an anonymous note on his ambulance that commended EMS providers for saving lives “selflessly, bravely and passionately.”

“Please DO block our street and parking space if needed!” The note read. “Park it wherever you like! Without people like you, we would not know what to do!”

“You, along with the other emergency services, truly are our unsung heroes!” The note added. “Stay safe, well fed, watered and warm. I hope more people realize how invaluable the ambulance service is!”

The note comes after a woman was recently fined for leaving an angry note urging an ambulance that was parked outside of her home to move despite being on an emergency call.

“Thanks to the member of the public for leaving this on one of our ambulance vehicles,” Romano said in a tweet that included a photo of the note. “I’m sure this is a more accurate representation of what the public really thinks.”
