SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Middle school student Rachel Benke doesn’t spend too much time without her best friend by her side, which is why it’s only fitting that he be pictured beside her in her seventh grade yearbook.

Taxi, the Texas teen’s epilepsy service dog, has his own photo right next to Rachel’s, reports Yahoo.

The Labrador-golden retriever mix has been with Rachel for four years and can predict when Rachel is going to have a seizure, which can happen anywhere from once every several months to multiple times in a week.

Rachel’s mom told Yahoo that Taxi flunked out of Seeing Eye training because of a “cat-distraction problem” but became a godsend in the form of Rachel’s service dog.
