GREENFIELD, Wis. — Firefighters went above and beyond during an emergency response, an act that caught national attention.
David Paskiewicz had just finished shoveling his driveway in Greenfield when he suffered a massive heart attack. “I was kind of out there scraping up a little bit and came in the house, and down I went,” he said.
Emergency responders had to resuscitate Paskiewicz several times. But after he was loaded up and taken to the hospital, something special happened. First, Greenfield police arrived to take his wife Dawn to be with him at the hospital. Then firefighters went back to the home to shovel the rest of the driveway.
