HAUPPAGUE, N.Y. — Three N.Y. police officers revived a man at a law office who suddenly went into cardiac arrest.
Police received a 911 call Wednesday afternoon about a 57-year-old man who had passed out in the office hallway, according to a Suffolk County Department press release.
Officers responded to the call along with members of the Hauppague Volunteer Ambulance Company and administered basic life support.
Officer Thomas LaFemina, also a paramedic, later arrived and administered advanced life support and delivered two shocks from a portable AED.
The man’s pulse returned and he was later taken to the hospital.
It is unclear what his condition is.
