Police, firefighters and EMTs all showed up for a drink after the boy’s stand was stolen and then recovered

FARGO, N.D. — Police, firefighters and EMS providers from across Fargo showed up to purchase lemonade from a boy’s stand, which had been stolen and then recovered.

Max Sornsin is selling the beverage to raise money for cancer research. Police Sgt. George Vinson, a two-time cancer survivor, responded to a call when the lemonade stand went missing, WDAY TV reports.

The stand was was recovered, and Vinson spread the word about the stand to first responders in Fargo. Many showed up for a drink.

Sornsin said he’s had so much business he wants to get his friends involved to help out.

“If my friends can come over, that’s really nice, Sornsin said. “Because sometimes I have really a lot of customers, so I can’t handle it just by myself.”

So far, Sornsin has raised about $150 for cancer research through lemonade sales.
