Four members of the Plymouth Ambulance Service got their chance to shine last week during the Journal of Emergency Medical Services Games at the Baltimore Convention Center.
In its first-ever outing to the JEMS Games, the Plymouth team placed third out of 22 teams, coming in behind a team from San Diego County, Calif., and the New York Fire Department, said Mike Lubbert, a paramedic with the Plymouth Ambulance Service.
“We’re pretty excited,” said Lubbert, 22, of Cedar Grove. “We only thought like we’d get in the top 10.” ...
