GREENFIELD, Ind. — The city moved today on a recommendation to terminate Theresa Rinehart, a Greenfield paramedic, but they will continue to pay her salary until a hearing is set next month.
It’s been four months since Rinehart was placed on administrative duties and 22 days since she was placed on a paid leave of absence from the Greenfield Fire Department.
The Greenfield Board of Works voted unanimously at its morning meeting to accept a recommendation by Fire Chief Lewis McQueen to terminate Rinehart. However, they agreed to continue paying her until a hearing can be set in March. Board of Works member Jim Hall was not present.
