MOUNT AIRY, Md. — After more than 250 hours of modeling, Warren Mellin will finally get to see the statue for which he has been posing.
Warren, 16, is one of five people depicted in the Maryland Fire/EMS Memorial to be revealed in front of the Louis L. Goldstein Treasury Building in Annapolis on Sunday. The statue is called “Between Morning and Midnight.”
“I had tons of fun,” said Warren, a Linganore High School sophomore. “I met a lot of new people, and I made a lot of new friends.”
