OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Paramedics trying to get through rush hour traffic had a helping hand from NBA player Kevin Durant Sunday.
While stuck in traffic, Durant decided to take action and turned on his hazard lights and pulled in behind the ambulance, clearing lanes for the vehicle to pass.
“We were stuck in traffic, so pretty much cars surrounding us all over. All of a sudden, I see a silver Ferrari or a silver sports car pull behind us,” paramedic Pete Radford told News 9.

The paramedics were able to reach the emergency call on time.
“Once we actually get through all the traffic, this silver Ferrari comes over to the side and waves to my partner,” Radford said. “ And my partner goes ‘Do you have any idea who that is?’ And of course I’m clueless.’ That’s Kevin Durant.”
After the traffic cleared up, Durant told Fox Sports he saw the paramedics waving out the window, to which he jokingly asked, ”Don’t you have a job to do?”
